De Soto Custom ca. 1952

These pictures come from an undated brochure, but the cars are obviously early 50s, probably 1952. They are slightly different from those on the De Soto 6 page (the major difference seems to be the badge on the front - horizontal orientation on the models on this page, and vertical on the De Soto 6 models). The engine was the Powermaster 6-cylinder 250.6 cu.in. (4.1 litre) unit that developed 116 hp at 3600 r.p.m. Whitewall tyres were offered at extra cost.
