Postcards about ten years apart. The one above is from the 1940s and shows numerous pre-war cars.
Driving in the middle of the road is a Morris Minor MM (note the headlamps in the grille). Parked on the left are an Austin and an MG Magnette. An Austin Devon has just driven past the MG.
On the left of this shopping street in Scheveningen we see an Austin A40 Somerset, a Ford Prefect and a Vauxhall Cresta. Further away is a Renault 4. On the right is a Ford Taunus and a Citroën Traction Avant.
A Citroën 2CV is passing a parked VW Beetle. Approaching from behind is a Studebaker Hawk.
Two Fords negotiating a ford, it would seem.
Facing the camera: a Sunbeam Alpine and two Morris Minor vans. A Hillman Hunter on the left is parked behind an Austin A40 Farina. A bit further on is a Ford Zephyr or Zodiac, I can't quite make out which.
