Studebaker introduced new styling for the 1947 model year, highlighted by the wraparound rear-windowed Coupes. The 1950 models introduced the famous "bullet nose" styling,


New for 1958 is the treatment of the air vents or cowls; they are now located in the grille, to leave body lines clean and sleek. Hawk Styling ditinguishes the rear fins and tail lights of 1958 Commanders and Champions. New hoodline is low and wide, blending into hthe new roof silouette. Dual headlights are standard on the Commander, optional on the Champion.
