1956 saw the introduction of another styling change. This model lasted until 1959, when it was dubbed the P60 N. It was replaced by the P60 P.

Changes for the 1956 model year include a new grille and headlamps. All models were available with the new Jetaway Hydra-matic automatic transmission.

The 93 was introduced in December 1955. A 748cc 53hp 3 cylinder engine replaced the original 2 cylinder unit. Coil suspension was used instead of torsion bars. The car had a restyled front.

Jaguar Mk VIII (1956-1959)
The Mark VIII replaced the Mark VII in 1957. It is identifiable by the one-piece curved windscreen. Production lasted only two years, when it was succeeded by the Mark IX.

Fiat 600

The Fiat 600 was introduced in 1956 and was an immediate success. The model shown here is the first one, easily identified by the front opening doors and the direction indicators on the top of the front wings
Volvo 121/122S (1956-70)

The car remained in production from 1956 to 1970. Seemingly indestructible, these cars are still seen in daily use on the roads today.
