Certain models were manufactured under licence in Rotterdam. De Nederlandsche Kaiser-Frazer Fabrieken N.V. was located at Sluisjesdijk in Rotterdam.

Gone is the split windscreen, although Porsche left a visible fold where the centre bar used to be.

FORD CONSUL/ZEPHYR, 1508cc/2262cc, 1951-1956

The four and six-cylinder Consul and Zephyr were the first British Fords to have overhead valve engines. They were also the first Fords to use McPherson strut suspension units, which provided good handling and roadholding These roomy six seater cars provided popular family motoring. The convertible models (by Car Bodies of Coventry) are particularly sought after nowadays.
