Rover P6 (2000) P6B (3500)

Introduced in 1963, the stylish 2000 was a complete break with tradition (the P4 was still available). It had a monocoque base with bolt-on body panels. The OHC engine was completely new. Automatic and twin-caburettor models arrived in 1967.

230 SL "Pagoda Roof" (W113)

230 SL "Pagoda Roof" (W113)

The 230 was the successor to both the 190 SL and the 300 SL and was perceived by many as a bit of a compromise. Its unusual roof -lower in the centre than at the edges- soon earned the car the epithet 'pagoda roof' because of its similarity with oriental temples.
